The Mrduja Regatta happens on the first weekend of October. It’s like saying goodbye to summer and welcoming the new racing season.

Many people join this event not just to win, but to be part of a long-standing tradition. They celebrate by inviting friends, preparing local foods, and enjoying the best wines before, during, and after the race. Even though the event is fun and festive, winning the Mrduja Regatta is still a big deal for sailors in the Adriatic Sea. The race is 22 nautical miles long, starting from Split, sailing around the tiny island of Mrduja between Brač and Šolta, and then returning to Split. To win, you need to understand the course well and choose the best path, either towards Šolta or Brač, to catch the strongest wind

You don’t need any sailing experience. We have two experienced sailors aboard. So for you this is the perfect opportunity to be in a regatta and have lots of fun. Its all about having a great time. Sailing yacht GoX is not a pure racer but of course we go for the best result. So be prepared to participate in trimming sails and be involved in race tactics.

Our offer:

Arrive on Thursday night the 3th of October or Friday morning on the 4th of October at the boat in Marina Kastela near Split. Then join us for preparing and attending all events around the regatta and of course join the race. You are welcome to spend the night on the boat back at the marina on the 5th of October. Tip: arrive a few days earlier or leave a couple of days later to explore Split and or Trogir (not included in price).

Price is €395 all-inclusive*

*incl. all onboard expenses (apart from alcohol), regatta entrance fee and each crew get a t-shirt.

FAQ special for this trip:

Do I need sailing gear? No, but things like a rain coat would be recommended as we cannot guarantee good weather. If you do have sailing gear then bring it but, this is convenient not mandatory. We will send you a list what to bring after booking.
How to book this trip? Contact us by whatsapp, phone or email and we take care of the rest, this is a special last-minute trip so you can’t book it online.
Do I need regatta experience? No, you don’t need any sailing or regatta experience.
