Started his career in hospitality and switched to IT and online marketing.
Now after 17 years being owner of a online marketing agency, he is back at hospitality again because that’s whats sailing holidays are all about. Providing a experience of a lifetime being on the water, making people happy!
Meet your co-skipper Bernice

Got the passion for sailing when she met Mark. They are a couple and if possible she will join you on your trip
Started her career in hospitality as flight attendant but climbed the ladder all the way up to several director roles in corporate IT and HR departments.
She is a real people person. Like Mark she is very keen on being outside as much as possible.
Our Story: Finding True North Together
For years, we successfully navigated the corporate world—Mark in IT and Online Marketing and Bernice in Corporate HR and IT. We were focused on climbing ladders, but our true passion was always the sea. Bernice caught the sailing bug when she met Mark, who has been sailing for over 25 years. We soon realized our happiest moments were spent together on the water, far from deadlines and boardrooms.
Trading Suits for Sails
The decision was simple but profound: we wanted to trade the pressure of corporate life for the serenity of the Dalmatian coast. We took the leap, knowing our combined professional skills—Mark’s deep sailing knowledge and Bernice’s expertise in genuine hospitality—were best used together on Sailing Yacht GOX.
GOXPERIENCE was born from the desire to share the freedom and joy we found at sea with others. We aren’t just your skippers; we are your hosts, dedicated to providing a carefree, personal experience where you feel completely taken care of.

Interiour layout of sailing yacht GOX
Sailing yacht GOX is a comfortable and spacious sailing yacht with a practical and well-balanced layout. On board, there are five double cabins, each with its own private en-suite toilet and shower.
Four double cabins are available for guests (up to 8 people). The crew has a separate cabin with its own entrance from outside, ensuring privacy for guests.
The yacht features a large galley with ample storage for fresh food and cold drinks. Opposite the galley and navigation table is a comfortable saloon area, providing seating and space for everyone to relax together.
GOX does not have fixed air conditioning. The yacht is naturally ventilated while sailing and at anchor. When staying in a marina, a portable air-conditioning unit can be used, depending on shore power availability, to help cool the interior.
Sailing yacht GOX is our home, which means she is very well maintained and equipped with all essential comfort and safety features for extended stays at sea.
